Pointing At Things

Yesterday Nana, Lilli, and I went down to stay with Nana Dot. She was so stoked to have us there, especially Lilli. :) Lilli was soo happy to see Nana Dot as well. It's really lovely seeing how much they adore each other. Granty came around this morning to see us and Gruncle stopped in for a cup of tea as well. Lilli had a ball with Granty - see videos below.

This afternoon when we got home to Nana and Pops place Lilli pointed at something out the window and said 'see Nana'.

Then later on when she was reading her book she said 'see' and pointed to the horse in her book.

Hands In Pockets

Today Lilli discovered that she can put her hands in her pockets all by herself. I had put her hands in her pockets once before but she only kept them there for a few moments then pulled them out, and until today I hadn't seen her put them back in. Now she is walking along with her hands in her pockets. It just looks so cute.

Nana and Pops came for dinner tonight and after her shower Lilli was getting wrapped up in her play blanket and reading a book with Pops.

Loving Her Sheep

Today when we were feeding Lenny, Mama sheep came up to us and was sniffing around the bottle. Then she came right up to Lilli and sniffed her face almost kissing her! Hahaha. Was Lilli afraid or concerned? No! She thought it was hilarious. Very cute.

Then off she went around the paddock with Lenny playing chase. She fell over twice and just picked herself up and carried on. Little toughie. After that she rolled up her sleeves and went over to play in the trough. Hmmm. Have to nip that one in the bud. I don't want her getting into the habit of playing in the trough for obvious reasons.

Hmmm, this is the one place she's not supposed to be able to get to!! No longer...

What Do You Want To Wear Today Lilli?

This morning I said to Lilli 'what do you want to wear today? Shall we go and pick you out some clothes?' and she went from the lounge into her bedroom and then opened the second draw in her dressing table! Hahaha. How freaky is that?! She got out the purple tights (unfortunately it was a bit cold for them) and then started looking at tops! I got out 2 pairs of pants for her to choose between and held one up to ask if she wanted to wear them - no no no no. Haha so I held up the next ones and got no no no no again. Anyway I managed to convince her to wear one of the warm pairs of track pants in the end. It was just so clever. Amazing.

Later in the day I gave her some milk in a cup with a straw and she started blowing through the straw and making milk bubbles. Haha. Check out the photo and video below. :)

Hi Fishy, Bye Fishy

Now we say Hi Fishy and Bye Fishy when we go down to feed the fish too! :)

Here she is inside the lamb's paddock. She has now decided that when we feed him she likes to stay in the paddock on her own with Lenny and Mama baa. I have to close the gate and 'go away' for a while. So funny. She was taking ages though and I was trying to get her to come inside but she wanted to stay there and next thing Mama baa baa'd really loudly and Lilli was at the gate and ready to come out! Hahahaha. She's not too keen on Mama baa when she baa's - it actually frightens her a bit and she holds onto your leg and hides so I always pick her up to make her feel safer. Our little toughie can be a bit chicken at times.

Playcentre!!

Today we went to the Otaua - Aka Aka Playcentre as Lynda from dancing said that it's really good and she goes on a Monday morning. Another girl Kim came with her daughter Taylor as well and we all had a good time. There was actually another girl, Katherine, that I have bumped into all over the place and she was there with her little boy too so we chatted and introduced ourselves. She goes to dancing too. So all in all we had a great time and Lilli even knew some of the little ones there. It's a cool setup and is parent run so I have to stay with Lilli but I wouldn't want to leave her anyway so it's all good. We have heaps of fun there together. She loves the swing and the rocking horses! Plus she loves to drive the 'firetruck'. Today we did a drawing with felt tip pens - her first! Very cute! Maybe next week we will try painting. Also we made pizzas so Lilli got to make her very first little pizza with a little bit of help from Mummy.

Sorry the quality's not so good but the photos were taken at playcentre and then printed out for us to take home so I just took a photo of them with my camera as it was quicker than setting up the printer to scan them in. I will get the printer set up in the next few days though! :)

18 Months Old Today!

Yesterday Lilli started saying Bye Baa and Bye Moo as we were leaving the animals to go inside. Soo cute. :)

Today she is 18 months old! She is growing up so fast. She's not my wee baby anymore - well yes she is, she'll always be my wee baby - but she's a real little girl now. Still as gorgeous as ever and a cheeky monkey who knows how to push all Mummy's buttons. I swear sometimes she is just trying to wind me up so that she can have a laugh! :) Little monkey bum!!!

Today as we were going down the stairs Lilli counted out 'waaahn, toooo, freee'. All by herself!! Without me counting with her or anything. How clever is that!
