Lenny The Lamb

Lilli has a new pet lamb. Well she will have if he survives!! Hahaha. Dad said that he had a twin missing so when we were doing the sheep this morning he sent me on a walkabout to see if I could find it. We figured it was dead as the sheep had left the area and we couldn't hear it calling out. I found it and thought I saw it breath but figured it was my imagination. It did look dead. When I shouted out to Dad that I'd found it the little head moved ever so slightly so went to it. I had to climb a deer fence then go down a bit of a bank and over another fence into the neighbours property! It was freezing cold (this happened after the 24 hours solid of rain we had!) and barely breathing but when I put my finger in his mouth he sucked ever so gently so I picked him up and scrambled back over to our place. We took him home and dosed him up with colostrum, an energy booster, and antibiotics just in case and I got a little milk into him and then we put him in front of the fire and waited to see if he would make it through the next few hours. He did and now if he keeps getting better we will be taking him home with us tomorrow. What a car trip that will be... me and my two babies! Hahaha.

Here she is with her sheperding sticks. :)

Quick Trip To Rotorua To Pick Up Daddy's New Ute

Lilli says 'Down Nana' or 'Down Pop' when she wants them to get down on the floor with her! Hahaha.

Her top left eye tooth came through properly today and it looks like it will stay put.

Max and I have made a quick trip to Rotorua to pick up his ute. Aunty Annie and Jack babysat Lilli while Max and I went out for dinner with Dad. It was cool, we had a lovely meal and I even had a full glass of wine! Then after dinner we went to the rugby club to have a drink with my brother Tony and my Uncle Ken. It was cool. Everyone was smashed - except for us! Funny. :) We stayed for a drink and then went to pick up our little girl. Poor Lilli had a very late night, she didn't get into bed until 9.50pm by the time we got her home and settled!!!

Dancing To A New Beat

Tots & Tunes have some new songs. The Wonky Donkey is hilarious and the kids love it. When we were down at the baas and moo today Lilli was feeding them and then she turned around as if she forgot something and said 'Ohhh shit'. Mum and I cracked up. Man it was funny.

Mum bought her a little plastic tea set and we were sitting out on the deck at her table and having a tea party. Lilli picks up her pretty little milk jug and heads inside with it. She goes over to Nan nan's precious china cabinet (the one that Lilli is not along in to) and tries to open the door to put her little jug in with Nan nan's precious little china ones in there! Ohhh isn't that just adorable?! Lilypie Breastfeeding PicLilypie Breastfeeding Ticker

Visitors & New Neighbours In The Front House

We came back up to Auckland yesterday. Max came in his rental van with the toys that we got from Brett and Michelle and Lilli and I came up in my wagon. The toys are so cool! One is a climbing gym with steps and slides that can have a hose attached in summer to become a water slide! The other one is a Little Tykes slide that we will put inside so that Lilli can get used to climbing and sliding on the carpet rather than the concrete or the wet grass outside. She just loves it! No fear of course and she's pretty good at it too.

I practically had to dress her on the slide!

Hmmm, I have told Daddy that he needs to find somewhere else to put his empty beer bottles because they are on the floor in the garage and every day I have to take one off Lilli. She managed to sneak this one past me while I was putting the washing in the machine and look where it is now!!!

Today the new neighbours are moving in. Friday is the official day that they move in but today they were there with some stuff. Lilli and I said hi and introduced ourselves. They have a 3 year old boy which is cool. He and Lilli played a bit and then as we were about to head back down to our place Jo rang and said that she and Maia would pop in for a visit so we went home and put the jug on.

It was cute seeing Maia and Lilli sharing Lilli's toys. Very good for Lilli to learn sharing. We have decided that we have to get them together more often. They play so well together, well most of the time anyway. :) Maia had a bottle and she drank her milk out of it and she also lay down and let her Mummy change her pooey nappy too. I told Lilli to take note.

Now saying:

Bye dear

Bye darling

Is driving Mummy's car and wearing her sunglasses. Thank goodness my wallet was still in my handbag!

Poppa's Birthday

Last night we babysat Casey (my brother Brett's youngest) which was great. Lilli just loves her and she followed her around everywhere and did everything she did. So cute. Case is really good with her as well so they had lots of fun. Max and I should've had a nice quiet night together once the girls went to bed, after being apart for a week, but he ended up going into town to pick up Tony and Annie and bring them home. Then when they wanted to keep partying he ended up taking Jack home instead. He stayed up at Tony's with Jack until they got home so we didn't see each other until morning when we woke up. Hahaha. Funny as. :)

Lilli and Casey watching tv together.

Poppa turned 65 today! And he took Max, Lilli, Casey, and I out for breakfast at MacDonalds. Yum. The girls were stoked and got happy meals with my little ponies in them. After that we all fed out and check the sheep. In the afternoon Max and I took the girls for a drive to get an icecream before heading back to get cooking!!!

We had Tony and Brett and their families come up for a pot luck dinner. Snow and Jo came too and Darrin and Nicki. It was a lovely night. Lilli was the star of the show as usual. She was very cute and kept everyone entertained. Then when it was time for her to go to bed she gave absolutely everyone a kiss goodnight. What a good girl.

Dad had a really great time which is the most important thing.
