Another trip to Rotorua & another tooth

Lilli and Mummy headed back down to Rotorua on Thursday as we were going to be babysiting Brett and Michelle's kids while they went down to Wellington to see the show Mamma Mia! We had to stop in Matamata for a break as Lilli woke up and needed a change and she was a little hot from being in her carseat. We sat on a couch in front of a mirror in a cafe which was really entertaining, Lilli was having a ball talking to herself, pulling faces, and playing with her toys while Mummy enjoyed a yummy iced chocolate. :)

We got to Rotorua and had dinner with Brett and Michelle and the kids and called it a night. The next morning I went with Michelle to drop the kids at school while Uncle Ces gave Lilli her breakfast. Then they left for the airport and Lilli and I went to go into town - only to find that Mummy had left the lights on in the car (it doesn't beep to say that they are on!) and so we had to get Michelle's car out so that we could jumpstart our car. Lilli thought it was a big game, driving Aunty Shell's car with Mummy and then watching from her stroller as Mummy muttered and cursed under her breath while she got the car going. At least she was having fun! Finally we went into town to do a few things and then stopped in at my old work to see the girls. We caught up with Aniwa as well this time which was great and then ended up staying for lunch - a mashed up banana for Lilli. A quick booby for Lilli and a cup of milk and water for Mummy and it was time to head home for a sleep before picking up the kids.

Excuse the view...

That's better.

We had a busy night as Josh had to go to try out for the Bay of Plenty touch rugby team for his age group - which he go in to. Meanwhile Lilli and I got the girls ready for their halloween party that night.

Do I have to give them back??

Casey and Kayla after Mummy and I did their makeup for halloween.

After that it was bath and bed for Lilli. She slept through the night for the first time in about 10 days so I was ecstatic! Yay!!!On Saturday morning I got all the kids organised nice and early and after cleaning up the house a bit and cleaning up their rooms we all headed out for a game of minigolf. After minigolf we headed into town for an icecream or milkshake and sat outside Lady Jane's to eat / drink them.

Me & my cousins Kayla, Josh, & Casey.

Then we headed up to Uncle Toot and Aunty Annie's place to see them and catch up with the other cousins. Sam was away but Matt and Jack were there so we hung out and ended up staying for lunch. In the afternoon I dropped the kids back home as Brett & Michelle were back and Lilli and I headed back up to Toot and Annie's for dinner as she hadn't seen much of her Uncle Toot seeing as he went off to work not long after we arrived. Lilli did not sleep through the night - in fact it was a bit of a bad one!

Come here and give me a hug.

I LOVE Scooby Doo.

On Sunday Lilli and I went in to Sulphur Point for a walk which was beautiful. Lilli loved it and was oohing and aahing at all the trees and the water. We walked around for about an hour and a half before heading back to Ces' place for lunch. The walk was intended to put Lilli to sleep but unfortunately it didn't so after lunch she was a bit over tired and very grizzly. I decided to head out for a drive in the hope that it would finally put her to sleep. We headed up to see Poppa and Trish and ended up going out to Okere Falls Store for a coffee. Lilli slept for about an hour which was nice but not really long enough. She only woke twice on Sunday night which was good.

Enjoying the view (and the smell!) at Sulphur Point, Rotorua.

The sulphur congealing on the water.

This is me!

Aren't I cute!!

Monday Josh was home from school as he was ill so I looked after him for the day and he came with Lilli and I to the chiropractor. All good there - she had one adjustment in her upper back and that was it. Monday night we headed up to Poppa's place for dinner after going to the club with him for a draw of the horses for the Melbourne Cup (a big horse race). Then Tuesday morning it was back to Auckland to Nana and Pops. Lilli just loved being down there and hanging out with her cousins but she was also happy as to be home again.

It's mine!!!!

Hmmmm??
