In her gorgeous Kathmandu tracksuit that Nan nan got her.
Tonight we had home made burgers and chips for dinner and when I asked Lilli if she wanted another chip she said 'chip' and ate one! :D

Tonight Nan nan was here and she was entertaining Lilli while I was cooking dinner for us all when Lilli popped into the kitchen for a moment. When I turned around she was in the pantry as usual but this time she had taken down the bread container so she could use it to stand on and reach up to steal some cabbage!!! Hahaha. We were in fits! It was so funny. I had taken the cabbage out of the microwave and just left it in the pantry while I cooked something else but she got into it before I finished.
In the crockery cupboard.
Hmmm... what's the plan here Lilli?
I'm going to sit down Mummy.
Update on the Mi mi situation is that Mum is now feeding it. We think it's a she but are not sure. Lilli and I turned up and I said to Mum that the cat has gotten super thin, it's starving to death. It could barely even miaow. We decided to feed it until we know what's happening with it. Truth is they have had no mice since it arrived so really it wouldn't hurt to keep it right?! We rang the vet and had a chat about whether or not it needed to be checked over and decided that it would just need worming. So now there's a cat at the farm as well as all the other animals for Lilli to look at and play with. :)
The next addition will apparently be some chooks!!!
Loves those gumboots. Even wears them with her pajamas. Haha.
She climbs up to the dvd player...
And changes the dvd herself. Clever monkey!!
Yes, this is another place to climb! Maybe I can get this door open...
Look, no hands.
Wearing her new snuggle socks. She just loves them!! They are super soft and snuggly.
Standing in the basket...
Sitting in the basket. :)
Wearing her hairband like sunglasses.
And trying to see through them.
Mum and Willie have had a cat hanging around their place for a while. They don't really want a cat so they are not feeding it but it still stays around. It's been here for quite a while. Lilli is just fascinated by it and she follows it around calling mi mi (miaow - for cat). Very cute. It's so friendly and a really lovely little cat, someone has to have dumped it I think. Still to be on the safe side we are making sure that Lilli doesn't actually touch it.
Max started feeling like he was getting a cold too yesterday so he rugged up and took it easy as he didn't have much work on, then this morning he said he wasn't feeling very good so he stayed in bed until late and then when he got up I said that I was taking Lilli for a walk and he asked if he could stay on the couch and rest because he was so crook that he needed to just rest up. After Lilli had slept we had lunch and then I took Lilli to Pukekohe to get a couple of warm sweatshirts for her and once again Max stayed home sleeping on the couch!! Men, aye! They are just hopeless when it comes to having a cold. Not only did he say that he thought his cold was worse than mine, he also reckoned that his throat was worse. Let's compare:
Max on day 1 still ate and talked fine. Rugged up and rested most of the day popping panadol due to 'extremely severe headache'.
Max on day 2 sleeps all day on the couch as throat is sore and head aches. Actually says that his cold is worse than mine and Lilli's was. Sleeps soundly until morning.
Max on day 3 eats half a packet of strepsils (exageration!!) has needed approximately 6 strepsils daily to cope with sore throat so far. Makes comment that dinner is beautiful but he may not be able to swallow it, still manages to eat the whole huge plate full though. Sleeps soundly until morning.
Jodi on days 1 to 3 has no voice for 95% of the day and has a headache and an extremely sore throat. Is trying to keep it together enough to make sure that Lilli is as comfortable as possible with her awful cold, sore throat, mucus, runny nose, etc. Poor baby struggles to breath when breastfeeding!! Stays away from strepsils or other medicines so that none get passed through to Lilli. Takes 4 panadol a day.
Jodi on days 4 to 6 drinks a meal supplement drink each night for dinner as she can't swallow any food. Still hasn't managed to get any time on the couch or managed any extra sleep (in fact is getting less) due to the fact that Lilli is still not well and very clingy. Thoughts are focused on getting Lilli well and getting wee happy girl back. Had to have a strepsil at bedtime to get to sleep due to dry hacking cough. Wakes during the night with such sore throat that needs a strepsil to breathe as can't breath through nose.
Jodi on days 7 to 10 still has a flemy hacking cough and runny nose but otherwise is feeling better. Gets to sleep without coughing but wakes about an hour later and coughs all night.
Hahaha, so do you think that he got a much more severe version of the cold??? Absolutely! Men always do. :D
Lilli playing in the shower while I got dried and dressed. She loved it. She pulled the drain plug out and was skimming it around the shower base and playing with her toys. She would lie down and then get back up, then lie down again. Then she'd sit up again and play with her toys or the shower head. She stood up and banged against the shower door and was yelling to me excitedly. I wish I knew what she was saying! She was just having an absolute ball. She didn't want to get out and when I'd open the door and ask if she wanted to get out she'd say BYE... BYE. Hahaha. Sooo cute. I would love to put up the gorgeous videos I took but they are nudy and I wouldn't want them to get into the wrong hands on the internet.
