More New Words... We Are Going To Housesit at Nan nan & Pops

Today's new words were:

Baby

Hi darling

When Pops came into the house he said Hiii Lilli and she replied Hiiii darling. We all just cracked up - it was just so well done. Clever girl.

Hmmm, this is the latest climbing thing.

Nan nan and Pops came over for dinner tonight and Lilli got then to get down on her couch with her to read a book. She wouldn't take not for an answer and they weren't allowed to sit next to the couch, they had to lie on it with her. I'm pretty sure it's because I always lie down there with her and read books. :)

Tomorrow we are going to go and stay at Nan nan and Pops house until Monday or Tuesday. We will look after all the animals for them and feed our wee lamb Lenny as well.

Lilli is Counting!!! 1, 2.

Today when I was getting a biscuit for Lilli she got one out and said one then she got another one out and said two. It's so cute the way she says it. It sort of sounds like waahn... tooo. Haha that's because Mum and I have pretty much always given her two of bickies or crackers and said to her one, two. :)

Then after we had been outside to feed the animals and were downstairs Lilli wanted to sit at Pops desk...

And write just like he does too. :)

Lenny The Lamb Has A New Home

We took Lenny out to Nan nan and Pops' place today. The men built him a little shelter to get out of the rain and put some hay in it for him. I got him out of the car and put him in his new paddock but he cried and cried so I let him out and he followed me all over the place while I sorted out his stuff and went over to see if the men wanted help to separate out the sheep.

We decided to see if 'Mama' the sheep that slipped (had a miscarriage) a couple of weeks ago would be a good companion for Lenny so we put her in with him in the hope that she might take him under her wing. So far so good, they are getting along good and she seems quite interested in him and vice versa. We'll see how it goes. :)

Car Keys and Squealing

Breakfast is always relaxed in our house. We take our time and I always let Lilli feed herself. She is getting quite good at it...

We went to Tots & Tunes today as usual and had a great time dancing and singing. Lilli's new thing is to squeal really extremely loudly when she's having fun (or angry or frustrated, etc). So today at dancing she's sitting in her boat with me singing Row Row Row Your Boat and she's really getting into it. Then when we get to the part where you go 'if you see a crocodile, don't forget to scream' and you scream she let out this huge scream and everyone in the whole room stopped and then cracked up laughing. So cute. Then on the second verse she got up out of her 'boat' and was up there in the middle of the floor and at the scream part she let out another huge scream and had everyone in fits again. :D When it was time to go Lilli and Maia kissed goodbye and hugged. It was soooo adorable. They are just so gorgeous together. The little mates.

After we had finished dancing and were having morning tea and the kids were playing with the toys Lilli brought a sesame street train over by me then she took my car keys and looked at them, found my car key and put it on the train and turned it!!! Wow!! Later at Nan nan's house she got Nan nan's car keys and did almost the same thing only better. She found the correct key and walked over to her motorbike and put the key in the hole at the top of the handlebars and then rode it into the kitchen where Nan nan was getting her a juice. Amazing aye!

Later still at Nan nan's house she went over to her Wiggles gumboots and stood there and slowly put one foot into her boot and then pushed down into it and then did the same with the other one!! I mean this wee girl is not even 18 months old yet!!! Isn't that just so clever?!

She has a favourite Wiggles song too and when it comes on she gets me up to dance with her. It's one that we first started doing at dancing and it's on the Wiggles Movie DVD that Mum has. So it came on this afternoon and she rushes over to get me for a dance. The song started and honestly she did every single action perfectly!! Even the 'bow to your partner' bit. I will video her doing it next time!!

About an hour later Pops arrived home and she says 'hi darling' to him. Hehehe. So along with Bye Dear, Bye Darling, Bye Daddy, she is now saying all those things with Hi in front instead of Bye. So sweet. Oh, and she can say lolly now too. ;)

Lilli Got Her First Sticker Today

I think she finds that feeding Lenny is a bit hard because he pushes and pulls on the teat and she's so little so when she climbed up on to the deck chair (yes climbed up by herself!!!) I gave her the bottle and she sat happily and fed Lenny his whole bottle. Although it looks a little uncomfortable for Lenny, he didn't care. He just guzzled his milk down like any other time.

Last night for the first time Max put Lilli to bed. He has tried before to no avail but last night it worked! Yay. I had been getting annoyed because she kept wanting to get up and was playing games with me so I asked Max to try and it worked. Yee haaaa! :D

We were in Botany today and a lady in a shop gave Lilli a sticker. It was so pretty with disney characters on it and it was all sparkly. She was so cute with it. She kept walking along holding her hand out in front of her so that she could admire the sticker. She wasn't looking where she was going because all she wanted to look at was the sticker. Mum and I had to tell her to look out a couple of times when she nearly walked into someone! Haha. So funny.
