Ahhh to be able to stay forever...

Getting Lilli geared up to go in the boat for a ride. Actually I think we were just making sure that her lifejacket was a good fit ready for boating later.

Our 'family' cabin. Max, Lilli and I are in the left hand room and Doris, Al and Elfriede are in the right hand room. It was mint.

Today we hit Guppie Creek.  Here's the hot water waterfall.  Nice!

And the gorgeous relaxing hot pool at the top of the waterfall.

Happy bathers about to head back to camp.

Time to go up and put the meat on!

Small trek to the 'hole'.

How's that for a view while you're poping the meat into the oven??

Yes, it takes a few chefs to lay this roast in the oven!  :)

Ohhh, Lilli having cuddles with Uncle Nee.

Our oven.

Lemme have the camera Oma!!

Lilli with Oma and Uri.

Al and Michelle

Lilli having dinner.

Max set up the slackline.  We all had a go.  Tricky stuff.  Bit easier after a couple of drinks though!  ;)

The crew coming back from the 'kitchen'.

Lilli and Matty

And another day is over here at the lake.  Needless to say a few more drinks will be drunk tonight and even I have had a couple here and there.

At The Lake - Our Own Little Piece Of Paradise On Earth

Lilli playing swingball with the kids.  She just loved it.

Al getting his beer on.

Max, Annie and Michelle in the cooking area.

Some of the boats.

And trucks...

Toot and  Annie's bus, with Darrel's in the background.  Ces' is behind Toot's.  It's the same setup we always have - more or less.

Darrel taking the big girls for a biscuit.

Lilli and Max playing down by Ces' boat.

The kids all swimming (& adults). Sam's barge (Bone's Barge) is parked up in the background.

Max teaching Lilli how to use the water squirters.

Looking back up toward the cooking hut.

And the cabins.

Note Max in the foreground leaping into the air as he gets blasted by his daughter who is a super fast learner!  Hehe.

A couple of days in Waiuku then off to Waihi Beach for New Years

We had a couple of days just hanging out in Waiuku before heading down to Waihi Beach for New Years.

A bit of fun under the sprinkler.

Opa doing a run.

3 generations of Wimmer / Warren!!

Lilli's new climbing place!  Yikes.

New words and phrases on 29/12:

I'm in the bed with my Mummy
Lying down
Shoes

As we head down towards Rotorua and the Lake we are stopping in at Waihi Beach for New Years Eve with Helen, Brian and co.  Elfriede and Doris came with Lilli and I in our car and Max and Al went in Max's ute.  We stopped in the gorge at the cafe for lunch and told the men where to come but they went straight past it so we lunched just the girls and then carried on to Waihi where we met up with the men again.  The cafe was gorgeous and it had a cute little Lilli sized bench near our table.

Max and I took our new tent (Xmas pressy!) and set it up ready to spend our fist night in it but later on it blew a gale and Lilli was asleep in the tent by herself and the bloody tent nearly blew away!  I got her and brought her into the house but later on when the weather had calmed down for the night we carried her back out there to sleep with us.  Much to everyone's disgust but hey, we wanted to spend our first night in the tent together as a family.  The rest of the night was fine and we all slept well.  :)

Lilli in her togs - destroying a flower.

It was a pretty quiet one but we had a great time.  We started out on the deck in the afternoon and came in when the wind got up and it got a bit chilly.

Then on New Years Day we shot up to the look out to get a couple of pics of Waihi Beach and Bowentown on our way out to Rotorua.
