Stringing Words Together

Lilli has been saying "No no Nan nan" or "Nan nan no no" when take her away from the tv because that's what Nan nan says when she touchs the buttons on the dvd player and sky decoder. We all say no to her but it's so funny because she will always say "No no Nan nan" or "Nan nan no no". Hahaha. She has been doing this for a few weeks but we never really clicked that it's stringing two words together! This is something that she should start doing in a few months and she has been doing it for weeks!!! She's soooo amazing.

The other thing she says now is "Po gon" when Pops goes away. She also says "gon" when anything else goes away too.

Plunket visit and yet another new word!!!

We went to plunket on Thursday and had a great time. Lilli kept trying to pull my skirt off which was slightly embarassing. Hehe. Anyway she is doing well as always and the plunket lady just loved her. :)

She is now 9.99kg which means she has lost a little weight since she started crawling and climbing everything in sight. Her little legs are much slimmer now which is freaky. She's still a good size though and still in the 85th percentile for length and weight. Her length is now 76.4cm.

Happy as watching Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka on the telly (her favourite program is In The Night Garden) and seated beside her are her own little Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka.

Today we were waiting by a park near the airport for Granty and Gruncle's plane to come in (they've been in Australia for a wedding) and there were two cars parked beside us. Lilli was watching them intently and then when they drove away she looked at Nan nan and said "gone". It was soooo cute!!! She's such a clever little monkey.

Nana Dot is Staying for a Week. :)

It's very hot here now and Lilli has been having nudy time every afternoon. I haven't even been putting her nappy on for an hour or so! She justs loves it. We start off by having a swim in the wee paddling pool on the deck and then she gets out and just crawls around until she's dry. Then she has afternoon tea and plays for a while before I put her nappy back on. So far we've only had 1 accident because normally she has a pee while she's in her pool I think. Hahaha.

Heading to her new 'toy' - the stereo. No matter how many times we tell her no, she still goes there. :)

They are the best of mates and Lilli is constantly over playing with Nana Dot. They play peekaboo and Lilli tries to climb all over Nana Dot's walker. It's just so gorgeous to watch. So sweet. Boy Lilli is going to miss Nana Dot when she goes home.

Yes, she has fallen off this perch once! :) So I ended up moving some toys around to make her landing a little safer.

Wow - big changes today!!!

Lilli seems to have grown months in one day! She is suddenly more forceful and definite about what she wants and doesn't want! It's freaky, but cute. :)

As in the past when she's teething or frustrated she bites occasionally. She has been biting me a bit lately not only on the boobs but on the shoulders too. Ouch! Anyway I have been trying to get her to understand that she shouldn't do it and it seems to be working.

11 months old today!!

Look at our big girl! She's 11 months only today. Ohhhh. :) Everyday I love her more. She is just such a gorgeous special wee girl and my heart nearly bursts when I think of her. I am so proud of her. She is so clever and so much fun.
